Jury

The verdict

At its closing session on November 30, 2004, the jury decided to award the main prize to for the thesis Solvable models of quantum systems with non-trivial geometry devoted to rigorous investigation of singular perturbations in low-dimensional systems. The jury found the work to be outstanding and excellently written, striving for full exactness and correctness, including the presentation style.

The jury also decided to distinguish the other two theses, those by entitled On integrability and T-duality of principal models, as an excellent and a very well written work, and by entitled Transport of electrons in photosynthetic reaction centers, as an excellent work devoted to a very difficult subject.
