Jury

The verdict

At its closing session on November 28, 2011, the jury decided to award the main prize to for the thesis Geometric Aspects of Gauge and Spacetime Symmetries which made important contributions to deformed space-time symmetries in classical General Relativity and CP violation in the electroweak sector of quantum chromo-dynamics.

The jury also decided to give a honourable mention to the thesis of entitled Helical symmetry and the non-existence of asymptotically flat periodic solutions in general relativity for its author approach and the method he developed to generalize the Gibbons and Stewart theorem in General Relativity.
