L. Hlavaty: Short Curriculum Vitae

Born November 29, 1949 in Prague. 

Primary and high school 1956-68. 

Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the Charles University in Prague 1968-73. Summa cum laude.

Diploma thesis "Nonpolynomial field thoeries" 1973. Postgraduate work in institutes of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences 1975-1992. Ph. D. thesis "Transformations and symmetries of nonlinear equations of mathematical physics" 1983.

Since 1992 at Faculty of Nuclear Physics and Engineering of Czech Technical University in Prague. Associate professor 1995. Habilitation thesis "Yang-Baxter equations and their application in the quantum spaces" . 

Full professor of physics of the Czech Technical University named 2000.

Married in 1976. One daughter born in 1980. Co-founder of the Circle of independent intelectuals, 1989.
