Superintegrability, Exact-Solvability and Representation Theory

Prague, November 22-24, 2024


Department of Physics of the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague in collaboration with the Doppler Institute for mathematical physics and applied mathematics and Institute of Nuclear Science of Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico are organizing a small international conference to honour important contributions of M. Havlicek, W. Miller Jr., J. Patera and P. Winternitz to the field of mathematical physics.

On Friday November 22 in the afternoon there shall be 4 memorial talks, introducing their achievements and personalities. Next, on Saturday and Sunday there will be talks by invited speakers testifying to their enduring influence on the current research.

Conference venue: Main faculty building Brehova 7, Atrium (a roofed ex-courtyard, the entrance is under the main staircase on the left)

Practicalities:

  • For WiFi Eduroam access is available, also local WiFi access will be provided to the participants.

  • During the weekend the main door may be locked. In that case ring the bell and ask the doorman to let you in. The doormen will have the list of participants available.

  • A few suggestions for lunch in the vicinity of the conference venue: Kozlovna Apropos (Czech pub), The Pub (pub and grill), U Rudolfina (Czech pub), Pizzeria Donna (Italian), Focacceria Alforno (Italian), La Casa Blu (Latin American), Sushi Viet (Vietnamese and sushi).
